A few things about Guillaume

Syria 1984

Born during a hot Syrian summer, Guillaume spent his early childhood eating kefta, hummus and bootha in the souks of Damascus. That’s probably where he caught the travel bug…

Although he is a truly devoted Indiana Jones fan, he has given up his dreams of becoming an archaeologist for the heart-thudding thrill that are global accounting standards. Will he finally decide to move his career forward after discovering Petra? Who knows…but one thing is for sure: thanks to his convoluted travel Excel spreadsheets he will be able to predict the weather on day 115 of the trip.

He is an also expert in making mojitos and a real amateur of Belgian beers. Is it why he is so excited about the Vietnamese Bia Hoi: can you really get 100 beers for $10? Stay tuned to Not So Lonely Planet for a full tasting report…
